Pregnancy Wardrobe on a budget

Something I have noticed about being pregnant is your wardrobe is going to change a lot and everything (in my opinion) is expensive! Only a small amount of high street stores have a maternity section - NewLook, H&M, Peacocks and various other baby stores sell a line of maternity wear and not many of them have them in there stores which makes shopping for your bump quiet frustrating , so I have some tips for shopping for your baby bump on a budget!

Look online

if you look at stores like eBay or Depop you can search for your second hand clothes and not all of them have been worn! I've bought a couple of pieces still with labels on at a quarter of the price!

If your on social media you might find some selling pages from people in your area selling clothes! I got a H&M coat for £10!!

Sales, sales, sales

Check online or in stores for sales - I've noticed NewLook as a pretty quick turn over of maternity clothes!
Check the sale rails because you could be surprised.

Buy the staples

Your only going to be dressing your bump for a short period of time so buy what I call 'staple' pieces such as basic tops, jeans, leggings and a jumper or maternity coat if your going to be pregnant over the colder months!

Borrow clothes

If your lucky to have a friend of know someone who is pregnant see if you can borrow clothes, if they have a maternity dress and you need one for an occasion see if you can borrow it, saves you some pennies and you know it looks good because someone else has styled it.

I hope these points help if your looking for clothes!

Thanks

Kerry xoxo
